Storytelling
with Rafe was held at the Visual Studies Workshop on Saturday, December
11, 1999.
Rafe Martin enthralled the audience as he told his fabulous stories
at a fundraiser for Cobblestone School. We entered into some of the many
worlds Rafe creates through storytelling. Tonight we created stories in
our head from the sounds Rafe created in the air. An Alaskan igloo, a
Japanese household, a sticky haired monster and even a pigs house of bricks.
Afterwards we had an opportunity to purchase his books for the holidays
and have them personally inscribed.
Thanks to Rafe for this magical evening of stories.
